THE CHALLENGE
2008

Since November 2006, there is a monthly challenge on the Dutch Online Magazine
On the first day of the month you will find a list of materials that you have to use and the challenge is to make something miniature out of it.
We are allowed to change one of the materials into something else or to leave one out.




October

It was a long time ago that I made a challenge.
This month the challenge was to make a candle-holder

The materials that I used:

• skeleton
• skullbead
  
• thin party candle
• other party candle to make the thin one a little bit thicker.
  
  
  
  And here is my candle holder, perfect for Griezelsteyn.
  
  
  
  
  
  February
  
  
  The materials:
  • feathers or spring (in Dutch we use the word 'veer' for both).
    I used feathers
  • 2 other materials
    I used a bead and stitching thread.
  
  
  
  
  And with that I made a fan.
  
  
  
  
  
  January
  
  
  The materials:
  
  • fimo and/or
  • beads and/or
  • iron wire and/or
  • thin cardboard and/or
  • trash, like caps etc.
  
  And the challenge was: make from 1 or more materials a
  special coffee- or teapot.
  
  
  
  I used fimo to make this pumpkin teapot
  for Juniper the herbal witch.
